- 1 lb pork breakfast sausage spice/hot flavored recommended
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour plain
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
Instructions
- Place: sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Crumble: sausage with a spatula or wooden spoon while cooking until browned and no pink remains; keep about 1 to 2 tbsp grease in the skillet
- Sprinkle: flour evenly over sausage crumbles and stir until absorbed, about 1 minute
- Drizzle: milk slowly into the skillet while stirring
- Cook: while stirring frequently until the gravy thickens to desired consistency
